 I graduated from Harvard University with a B.A. in Social Anthropology and a minor in Ethnicity, Migration, and Rights studies. I graduated valedictorian from my high school, and spent much of my free time then doing musical theater. In college I dedicated much of my time to student government, cultural groups, and community service. I’ve taught in different capacities abroad in Botswana, the Philippines, and Taiwan and have just moved from Boston to California. Outside of education and travel, my hobbies include kickboxing, listening to R&B, and meeting new people.

Major: Mechanical/Aerospace and Nuclear Engineering

I am currently a student at New York University's Tandon School of Engineering pursuing a Bachelors of Science in Mechanical/Aerospace Engineering with a concentration in Nuclear Sciences and Engineering. I scored in the top 1% on the SAT as well as 34/36 on the ACT. I have 5+ years experience tutoring students in a variety of subjects from the Elementary to the College level. I am passionate about math and physics and enjoy working through and helping other students develop such interests of their own.

AMY 

I am a student at the University of Pennsylvania studying the Biological Basis of Behavior, an undergraduate neuroscience program. I graduated high school and obtained my A.A. degree simultaneously from Gavilan College, where I also worked as a tutor for over 6 subjects.

I enjoy playing soccer, going dancing, road tripping, and cooking. I hope to someday join Doctors Without Borders and travel the world while making a difference in rural communities all around the globe.

MOHAMED

I received my dual bachelors and Masters in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Pennsylvania with Magna Cum Laude honors. I was a member of the highly selective Penn World Scholars, a group of outstanding internationals with commitment to leadership and service. I am passionate about math and physics and enjoy coming up with creative ways to solve problems and helping fellow students develop such skills. I enacted that spirit through my teaching assistantship and tutoring positions. As a result, I was awarded the Hugo Otto Wolf memorial prize by the school of engineering for the originality of my work. I plan to pursue a doctoral degree in operations research to capitalize on my passion for solving problems using math. 

In my free time, I enjoy playing percussion, gaming and working out.

I am a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, where I received a BA in Cognitive Science with a focus on Psychology and Linguistics. I also minored in English and am fascinated by the way language change and dialectal differences affect how we communicate. I scored a 2250 on the SATs and have experience as a tutor ranging from teaching young children basic STEM concepts to helping college students understand the fundamentals of Cognitive Science.

In my free time I sing in and arrange music for my local a capella group. I love music, dancing, attending theater, and analyzing television shows.

I am a student at the University of Chicago majoring in Economics and Mathematics. I also have a strong interest in big data analytics, where I have used it to conduct research on Massachusetts loan data.
